Trust the process…

List 10 things you know to be absolutely certain.

1. Karma – What you do to somebody else, good or bad or ugly, will find it’s way back to you, one way or other.

2. Love – Sooner or later, you’ll find love. The purest form of it. But it will not necessarily be your significant other, it could just be anything. Parent(s), sibling(s), kid(s), pet(s), passion or hobby, that beautiful neighbour, that individual you see everyday while commuting, could be anybody or anything. Just have patience and faith.

3. Nature – It’s everywhere. Enough for everyone’s need, but not enough for everyone’s greed. Any harm that nature does to humankind is because we’ve taken her for granted. There is no reason valid enough for destroying her sanctity.

4. The universe – The sun, moon, stars, the solar system, the gravitational force, space, it’s all right there, it was there even before humans came into existence. It will stay even when we cease to exist.

5. Parents – Our whole heart, and then some more.

6. Change – The only constant and yet so difficult to come to terms with it.

7. Peace – It exists within us and yet it’s so tough to find it.

8. Music – It’s not limited to a musician’s instrument. It’s everywhere, in everybody and in everything. There’s music in every element of nature. There’s music in a mother’s humming and in her new born’s cooing. There’s music in the heartbeat. It’s there, just close your eyes and listen.

9. Hunger – For food, for love, for attention, for money, for knowledge, for.. some justified and necessary and some hyped. It exists. And hunger in some form will one day lead to the downfall of the human race.

10. Science and Maths – From the becoming of the universe to the becoming of a baby, to the most dreaded death. There is science in everything, every microorganism, every discovery and every failure. Science is the basis of all we know.
